New Shop - Same Great Service

We are at it again.

In December of 2006, Avalanche Sports opened a second location at the north end of main street.  The openning coincided with the launch of the BreckConnect Gondola.  With its close proximity to Mountain Thunder Lodge, Paragon Lodging, and all the parking, it immediately became a convienent location for many people visiting Breckenridge.  We have quickly outgrown this original north location and have decided to move into a bigger space just three buildings down.  As always, it will carry the same name, you can expect the same great service, and you can still count on seeing the three owners present. We are very excited to open an even larger shop on the north side of town, which still backs up to the BreckConnect Gondola.

Both stores will carry the same cutting edge gear, have the same hours, service, and pricing. Our new store is located at 315 N Main, (it is the first rental shop on the right as you come down main street, directly across from the fire house).  It is a great location if you are coming in for the day, or if like most people, are coming up Route 9 from I 70.  Avalanche Sports North is located direclty south of the new Paragon Lodging Building (Paragonlodging.com).  We share the building with a new pizza parlor, North Side Pizza and there is a Breckenridge Accommodations (visitbreck.com) check in desk inside our space as well.  We are even closer to the gondola which is directly behind our store. 

So please come check out our new location on your way into town. If this is not convenient for you or if you are staying in the Peak Nine base area, come by our original location at 540 S. Main, sandwiched between the Breckenridge Brewery and The Blue Moose Restaurant, and you’ll be happy to find nothing has changed.

We are still a locally owned, operated, and supported full service ski and board shop, where you will notice a difference.
